Feb. 20, 2006- after a hearty, nausea-friendly dinner of meat-filled wonton soup (why don't they just call it ravioli?) I pondered eating a spoonful of this ice cream that we discovered yesterday at good ol' Food Dimensions grocery store. But reconsidering last night, I decided not to. Don't tempt the devil, right?

I forgot this entry. Last week my boyfriend's sister brought this champagne home from work. The bottle of champagne is WEARING a sequined, button-up coat by designer Carmen Marc Valvo. Yeah, and you thought your bottle of Dom was classy.

Feb. 20, 2006- I woke up feeling AWFUL! So I had an apple and green tea for breakfast, then promptly laid back down.

She also brought home this bottle of Pomegranate Liquer. I don't know if this stuff is out yet. It's mad sweet, but has no alcohol taste. See how much we drank? We mixed it with the Carmen Marc Valvo champagne. We also mixed the Valvo with some chambord that came inside a Christmas tree ornament.

Feb. 19, 2006- for dessert- I made six cookies, and two people each had one. Who can tell me how many I ate, if they are all gone? Too fucking many! Within a few minutes, I was lying down with nausea and dizziness. I'm not sure if it was the salmon steak my boyfriend cooked or if it was the 4 cookies.

Feb. 19, 2005- for dinner, we ordered Papa John's. But we went to the supermarket and discovered this new lab sample flavor of Coke. I'm convinced they just have taste-testers try the mistake mixes and label the can whatever flavors the testers said they tasted, and that's how they come up with new flavors.

Feb. 19, 2006- This is some of my beloved loose-leaf white tea, peach flavored. I am absolutely IN LOVE with loose-leaf tea. This weekend, we also went to the Life Cafe 983 (the Brooklyn location of the spot Jonathan Larson made famous in RENT) and had juevos merida (scrambled eggs with guacamole, salsa, home fries, and toast).

Feb. 18, 2006- snack. Okay, this isn't all I ate. I actually ate a whole box in under ten minutes. It was followed by a horrible stomachache!

FEb. 18, 2006- Oh, oh, oh no! What the hell happened? I was doing so well! Why am I eating greens cooked with pork bacon and macaroni and cheese for lunch? What the fuck? Can it be stopped?

Feb. 18, 2005- Breakfast- just tea. Just plain tea. I'm needing fewer and fewer calories per day.
Posted by Picasa

Last week- dinner- sort of. I just needed a late evening snack. Working late, you know. Bringing home that organic vegan bacon. Holdin' it down.
Posted by Picasa

Feb. 17, 2006- ah, there we go with the green carton. A little salad is added to the repeat of breakfast meal.
Posted by Picasa

Last week- Lunch- that organic goodness is just spreadin'. I'm doing good- this is day three.

Feb. 17, 2006- last week, this was breakfast EVERY DAY. I realized I prefer the green carton of Edensoy to the blue. The green is fortified with all sorts of B vitamins and tastes a little sweeter.
Posted by Picasa

Last week- breakfast- another one of those apple tarts. But I didn't eat lunch until about 2 o'clock.
Posted by Picasa

Last week- Dinner. I just ate a few Sour Patch Kids that were left behind at a coworker's desk.

Last Week- still eating healthier. This GNU foods 'flavor & fiber' bar was relatively tasty, and definitely more chewy than your average energy bar. I recommend it, if you don't mind its, ahem, laxative qualities.

Last Week- back to eating healthy. Breakfast.

Early Feb. 2006- okay, maybe one more day of bad eating. This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE breakfast, snack, or dinner food- Marshmallow Mateys. It's cereal that comes in a bag, because it's by cheapo company Malt-O-Meal. If you have trouble finding it in the cereal aisle, look down. It's always at your feet. $1.99 per bag, bitches! I buy 'em three at a time. That's usually how many bowls I eat per sitting too.

Early Feb. 2006- dinner after work with my boyfriend. We were going to see Match Point and grabbed a quick meal at Bocca, a midtown chain. After today, I vow to eat healthier. This is a spinach soup, half a sandwich and Arizona green tea.

Early Feb. 2006- I've been snacking on these way too often at work, but it says there's 0g fat so I feel okay about it. They cost 70 cents a bag!

Early Feb. 2006- one of my coworker's and I went to this really fast Chinese food place on Broadway. This food came out five minutes after we ordered it. We didn't even have time to finish our green tea before starting to chow down. It wasn't the best, but it was quick and greasy.

February 15, 2005- on a Wednesday, after a "doctor's appointment," I stopped at Starbuck's. Yes, I'm a Starbuck's person. I'm a "grande skim extra hot hot chocolate with whip." For all of you anti-corporate, anti-Starbucks smart-asses, think on this: every small business craves the success of places like Starbuck's. If your favorite mom-n-pop coffee shop was given the chance to expand, they'd jump at it, so don't knock Starbuck's for their success! They were once a young, small startup too! And they make damn good coffee, obviously!

February 13, 2005- one of my new favorite breakfasts. This place is called Pan and Plus, and is located underneath Rockefeller Center. This is their apple tart.

February 12, 2006- Definitely a weekend meal. One of the best restaurants in my East Williamsburg neighborhood is the soul food restaurant Manna's. There's also a location in Harlem. When you go on a Sunday, it's full of post-church saved people. This was a great meal of meatloaf, macaroni-n-cheese, candied yams, string beans and salad.

For some reason, Jamba Juice brought free smoothies to someone at work. This one was mango.

Snack at work. This night, I was going to an "event"- a red-carpet store opening. I needed all the energy I could get.

Lunch at work- the Mexican station in the cafeteria. I am not a huge fan of their guacamole- Chipotle does it better. But, alas, there is no Chipotle near my job. They do make good chicken filling for the burritos.

In December, I started a bad habit of eating a cinnamon apple or banana walnut muffin every day for breakfast. They were damn good.
Posted by Picasa

December 2005- at Burger Heaven, on my way to the "Event." This was a baked potato with broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and smothered in cheddar cheese. MMMMM.

December 2005- Got to love the Girl Scouts. I hated it when I was a Brownie. All we ever did was cook breakfast, talk and sell cookies. I wanted to join the Boy Scouts with my brother and go camping. I thought about it but decided I didn't want to go to court for it.

In November, I went to a "networking" party at a friend's place. It was all women, and a table full of Red Bicyclette wines. I liked the syrah. And then I joined the Social Club.

December 2005- lunch. Muscle Milk from GNC. It has a lot of calories, but I was planning to work out that night. Who doesn't recognize and love Auntie Anne's pretzels? This was a raisin flavored one.
Posted by Picasa

December 2005- MMM, hot chocolage. Well, actually, watered down hot cocoa.
Posted by Picasa

I don't know what the hell this is but apparently I ate it. Maybe it's macaroni and cheese? Maybe soup? Maybe it's pre-scrambled eggs.
Posted by Picasa

December 2005- Breakfast. At work. I think the tea is Tazo Passion.
Posted by Picasa

November 2005- the great Chickarina! A roommate back in college, sophomore year, turned me on to this interesting Progresso soup. It's got pasta pearls, chunks of chicken, beef meatballs, and veggies. Mad good. That's why this photo makes it look like a savior.

December, 2005- my boyfriend's sister and her boyfriend and I ordered this "everything" Big Papa from Papa John's. Oh my gosh, I love that place!
Posted by Picasa

Still at Olive Garden (Times Square Location)- Margarita, cha cha cha.
Posted by Picasa

Lunch- one of my good days back in November 2005. I try. Right now, the dressing looks gross. I don't remember what kind it was. And the onions probably weren't a good idea.
Posted by Picasa

November 2005- late night snack. The poppycorn is DEAD.
Posted by Picasa

Breakfast- Sometime in November. My boyfriend's sister cooked this. It's vegetarian bacon, scrambled eggs, corned beef hash & grits, and a muffin.
Posted by Picasa

November, 2005- I can drink almost two of these per day. Usually I drink one for breakfast.
Posted by Picasa

Oct. 31, 2005- Dinner for two with my boyfriend at Olive Garden. We ate so fast I forgot to take a picture of the dinner, but dessert was fabulous. This was Halloween night.

Don't knock the prizes in the bubble quarter machines at Marc Jacobs.

11/6/05 sunday. Breakfast. Bananas. Nanas. Nas. I love me some banans, man. Eat 'em and weep. Okay, maybe I should stop blogging for now. My brain's clearly running on empty.

11/6/05 Sunday. Breakfast. The choices are difficult and endless in my refrigerator. Difficult and endless.

11/5/05 Saturday. After-dinner. Usually I like to stay away from alcohol, especially whole six-packs of beer. But Mike's Hard Berry is good and it doesn't get me super drunk. Kids, get an adult's supervision before drinking.

11/5/05 Saturday Dinner. Papa John's. Yeah! Git 'r done! This is a veggie delight or something like that. It seriously took an hour and a half to come, even though the store is two blocks away from us. Is that what happens when you live in the ghetto? Does it have to be this way? It's bad enough I'm scared to walk the two blocks to the store, now the deliveryman can't drive it either?

11/5/05 Saturday. Lunch. Bought a six-pack today. Drank a six-pack today. Riiiight.
